Artwork Description
In Snowmelt, the story doesn’t sit in front of you — it surrounds you.
The mountain world unfolds across the entire space, with performers roaming among the audience. There is no fixed viewpoint. Like being in the wild, you need to stay aware. Action lives in different directions. You decide where to look, what to follow.
Here, contemporary movement collides with acrobatics and storytelling.
Dance folds into parkour. Breaking threads through lion dance. Puppetry merges with physical theatre. The disciplines don’t sit side by side — they weave, overlap, and reshape one another, forming a physical language that feels newly born from the mountain itself.
Each body carries a different instinct — grounded, agile, alert, explosive — and together they create an ecosystem of motion rather than a linear performance.
The experience is open to all ages. Children enter through imagination. Adults may sense the warmth beneath the play.
Snowmelt is not a show you passively consume.
It’s a world you step into.
