Colourful Jellies

COLOURFUL JELLIES is an interactive light installation developed by the Hong Kong-based design team Surge, led by Carmen Cheung, in collaboration with the digital art studio, The Collective. This captivating creation transports visitors into the mystical realm of the deep blue sea.

Step into the heart of this mesmerising installation and witness the enchanting language of jellyfish brought to life through bioluminescence—a dazzling defence mechanism that safeguards their existence. Within the jellyfish's translucent head, radiant tendrils emit a bewitching glow, captivating and deceiving predators in a mesmerising display of survival. The surrounding waters come alive as luminous particles create an ethereal spectacle, casting an otherworldly ambiance that leaves all who behold it in awe.
