Artwork Description
Chair That Grows a Tail begins with a small, playful question: what if humans—tailless by nature—have always quietly wished for one? When visitors take a seat, a tail appears, lightly printed as if it has momentarily grown. The gesture is simple, humorous, and inviting, encouraging a brief moment of imaginative transformation.
As the laughter settles, the work opens space for a subtler reflection. The animals whose tails we admire for their elegance or expressiveness often live within delicate environments shaped by human activity. Through this whimsical encounter, the artwork invites visitors to enjoy the moment, while gently considering the lives of these animals, their habitats, and the quiet responsibility we share in shaping the world around us.
